Welcome Ceremony Organized for Jatinga Migratory Birds

 Haflong,Sept 23: A ceremonial event was organized by the Dima Hasao Forest Department in collaboration with local tourism initiatives to mark the ceremonial welcome of the migratory birds to Jatinga.

​The program was attended by prominent community leaders, administrative officials, and forest department representatives. Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC),  Debolal Gorlosa, served as the chief guest for the occasion.

​Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted the importance of wildlife conservation, protecting the seasonal winged guests, and promoting sustainable eco-tourism in the region. Local community members were urged to continue supporting preservation efforts to ensure a safe environment for the migratory birds during their annual stay.
