NFR Successfully Completes Restoration Work on Line No. 2 at New Harangajao

 Guwahati, 03^rd September, 2026:

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has successfully completed the restoration work on Line Nos. 2 and 3 at New Harangajao station following the settlement of railway tracks. With the restoration of these lines, train operations are being progressively normalised through Line Nos. 2 and 3, facilitating smoother movement of trains through the section while maintaining enhanced safety measures. Restoration work on Line No. 1 near New Harangajao station is also progressing on a priority basis and remains in progress. In view of the ongoing restoration activities, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train services to facilitate safe, smooth and efficient train operations.

 

Cancellation of Trains:

·       Train No. 15615 (Guwahati-Silchar) Express commencing journeys on 04.09.2026 has been cancelled.

 

Rescheduling of Trains:

·       Train No. 15650 (Narangi - Agartala) Express commencing journey on 04.09.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Narangi at 18:30 hrs.

 

·       Train No. 20507 (Sairang – Anand Vihar Terminal) Express commencing journey on 04.09.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Sairang at 20:10 hrs.
