N.F. Railway Wushu Academy Bags Taolu Runners-Up Trophy with 30 Medals at All Assam Inter-District Championship

The Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Association (NFRSA) Wushu Academy has brought laurels to N.F. Railway by securing the Taolu Runners-Up Trophy in the Sub-Junior category at the 23^rd Sub-Junior & 23^rd Junior All Assam Inter-District Wushu Championship 2026, held at Udalguri, Assam. Competing against 26 district teams and more than 400 participants, the NFRSA contingent comprising 22 talented athletes delivered an impressive performance, winning a total of 30 medals — 6 Gold, 19 Silver and 5 Bronze. 

Among the standout performers, Satyam Chakroborty clinched Gold in Nangun, while Gravilk Mohalia secured Gold medals in both Nanquan and Nandao, emerging as one of the team's top performers. Nishant Kr. Mandal also won Gold in Taichi Jian, while Farhin Hazarika and Rishikesh Sardar brought further glory to the Academy by securing Gold medals in Wing Chun. Their impressive individual performances played a significant role in the team's overall medal tally and contributed to NFRSA Wushu Academy's achievement of the Taolu Runners-Up Trophy.

The team competed under the able guidance of Coach N.C. Rao, whose dedicated efforts, along with the commitment of the athletes, contributed significantly to the team's outstanding performance. The success also reflects N.F. Railway's continued commitment to encouraging and nurturing young sporting talent, providing aspiring athletes with opportunities to develop their skills and excel at competitive platforms.
