NCHAC CEM Debolal Gorlosa Completes Digital Self-Enumeration for Census 2027, Urges Public Participation

 

Haflong, August 3: The digital self-enumeration phase of Census 2027 commenced across the country on Sunday, with the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa, successfully completing his online self-enumeration as part of the nationwide exercise.

District administration officials assisted the CEM during the process by providing the necessary guidance and technical support.

According to the Dima Hasao district administration, the digital self-enumeration facility will remain open from August 2 to August 16, 2026, enabling residents to submit their personal and household information online in a simple, secure, and convenient manner.

Officials said the initiative is expected to make the Census process more transparent, efficient, and fully digital. Citizens have been encouraged to complete their self-enumeration within the stipulated period to ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection.

The administration emphasized that accurate information provided by citizens will serve as a crucial foundation for future development planning, government welfare schemes, and policy formulation. Residents can complete the process by accessing the Government's official Census self-enumeration portal and entering the required details.

The Dima Hasao district administration and the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council have jointly appealed to all residents of the district to actively participate in the digital self-enumeration drive and contribute to the successful implementation of Census 2027.
