Midnight Fire Breaks Out in Boragaon, Residents Panic

Guwahati, August 13: A massive fire broke out at midnight on Wednesday in Boragaon, creating panic among local residents.

The fire reportedly started at a dumping yard. After noticing the blaze, local residents informed the fire and emergency services. Around ten fire tenders from different parts of Guwahati reached the spot and, after several hours of efforts, managed to bring the fire under control.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. However, the incident has raised several questions among local residents regarding the recurring fire hazards at the dumping yard. The intensity of the flames was so high that it caused considerable panic in the surrounding areas.
