DHAC CEM Inaugurates New Building of Kirtipur LP School in Maibang

 Haflong, July 31: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC), Debolal Gorlosa, on Friday inaugurated the newly constructed building of Kirtipur Lower Primary School at Maibang, marking a significant milestone for one of the district's oldest educational institutions.

Established in 1961, Kirtipur LP School holds special significance for the CEM, who began his educational journey there as a student. Speaking on the occasion, Gorlosa described the event as an emotional and proud moment, saying it was a privilege to return to his alma mater to inaugurate its new school building.

He said the modern infrastructure reflects the collective commitment of the DHAC towards improving educational facilities and providing a better learning environment for future generations. He expressed hope that the new building would inspire students to excel in their studies and contribute to the progress of society.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by DHAC Chairman Mohet Hojai, BJP Dima Hasao District President Dhriti Thaosen, Executive Member Monjoy Langthasa, Executive Member Ratan Jarambusa, along with local leaders, teachers, students, and residents.

Extending his best wishes to the school community, Gorlosa expressed confidence that Kirtipur LP School would continue to nurture young minds and play a vital role in shaping the future of the district through quality education.
