Important Review Meeting Held on Development Projects in Dima Hasao

 Haflong, June 1: An important review meeting was held on Monday at the Conference Hall of the Chief Executive Member, North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) Secretariat, Haflong, to assess the progress of various ongoing development projects across Dima Hasao district.

The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa, MLA Smt. Rupali Langthasa, and Executive Member, Monjay Langthasa. Senior officials from the Public Works Department (PWD) and contractors associated with different development projects also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted on the progress of ongoing road, bridge, and other infrastructure development projects being implemented across the district.

 Chief Executive Member  Debolal Gorlosa and MLA Smt. Rupali Langthasa emphasized the importance of completing the projects within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high standards of quality.

They directed the concerned departmental officials to regularly monitor the progress of work and ensure prompt resolution of any issues or obstacles affecting project implementation.

Addressing the meeting, Chief Executive Member Gorlosa stated that the successful and timely execution of public welfare projects is essential for improving the quality of life of the people.

 He urged all concerned officials, engineers, and contractors to work with dedication and coordination so that the benefits of development reach the people at the earliest.

While expressing satisfaction with the overall progress of the ongoing works, the meeting stressed the need for greater accountability and proactive efforts from all stakeholders to ensure the completion of projects within the prescribed deadlines.
