Anand Nagar Mahila Samiti Felicitates Meritorious Students

 

Guwahati, June 13: Anand Nagar Mahila Samiti organized a special felicitation ceremony to honor meritorious students of the locality. Students who achieved outstanding results in the recently declared Higher Secondary Examination were felicitated and congratulated, with best wishes extended for their bright future.

The programme was held on Friday evening at the Anand Nagar Durga Mandap premises. The chief guest on the occasion was Dr. Bibhas Das Purkayastha, former Principal of Pandu College. Among those present were the President of the Samiti, Chayna Chatterjee, special guest Sayantika Dhar, social worker Paritosh Dhar, and senior journalist Debjani Patikar.

Addressing the gathering, the speakers highlighted the importance of education, moral values, and the role of students in nation-building and social development. In his speech, Dr. Bibhas Das Purkayastha stated, “Hard work, discipline, and concentration are the keys to success. The achievements of these meritorious students will inspire others in the area and motivate them to strive for higher goals.”

On the occasion, the students were honored with traditional Phulam Gamosas, certificates of appreciation, and mementos. The awardees also expressed their gratitude to their parents, teachers, and the Anand Nagar Mahila Samiti for their constant support and encouragement.
