Namaste Thailand Inter-School Quiz 2026

 Guwahati 18 May: The Namaste Thailand Inter-School Quiz 2026, presented by the Royal Thai Embassy and powered by Quizcraft Global, was held on 8th May, Friday at the Srimanta Sankardev International Convention Centre, Guwahati, bringing together students from leading schools across the region in a prestigious competition centred on Thailand’s culture, heritage, tourism, innovation, technology, diplomacy, current affairs, and India–Thailand relations.

 The quiz was conducted by noted quizmaster Adittya Nath Mubayi, a renowned Indian quizmaster, knowledge entrepreneur, and author known for hosting thousands of shows globally and creating content for television, such as Kaun Banega Crorepati and BBC Mastermind India. Students of St. Vivekananda English Academy, Maligaon, Guwahati Neeraj Sarmah and Ankit Mandal, emerged as champions of the competition, securing the first prize after a commanding performance throughout the contest. 

As winners of the Guwahati edition, the duo, along with an accompanying teacher, will receive an all-expenses-paid educational trip to Thailand sponsored by the Royal Thai Embassy. They will be joined by the winners of the Delhi chapter of the Namaste Thailand Quiz 2026 to be held in the month of July and will get the opportunity to interact with Thai students as part of a people-to-people cultural exchange initiative aimed at strengthening ties between India and Thailand.

 The quiz was organized with the objective of promoting greater awareness about Thailand among Indian students while encouraging global understanding and cross-cultural learning. A special focus of the competition was Thailand’s Creative Economy and its growing role in innovation, entrepreneurship, culture, and sustainable development.
