Earth Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Modern Public Academy, Pakarkona : Students Spread Message of Environmental Conservation.

 

Guwahati, April 22, 2026:  Modern Public Academy, Senior Secondary School, Pakarkona, Alikash celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and awareness on Tuesday. Observed globally on April 22 each year, Earth Day serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and conserve the planet.

This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,”inspired students to take an active role in environmental conservation. The programme commenced with an inspiring address highlighting the urgent need to safeguard natural resources and adopt sustainable practices.

A series of creative and educational activities were conducted throughout the day. Students participated enthusiastically in dance, drawing, poster-making, and speech competitions. Through vibrant posters and artwork, they drew attention to critical issues such as pollution, water conservation, tree plantation, and cleanliness. In the speech competition, participants presented thoughtful views on practical ways to save the Earth.

Teachers encouraged students to remain environmentally conscious and adopt small but meaningful habits in daily life such as reducing plastic use, planting trees, and conserving water.

The celebration concluded with a collective pledge by students and staff to protect the Earth.

At Modern Public Academy, Earth Day was not just an event but a meaningful initiative to instill awareness, responsibility, and action towards a greener future .
