GOC visits Frontier Hqrs Guwahati

Guwahati 28 March: On 28.03.2026, Lieutenant General Neeraj Shukla, AVSM, SM, GOC (Designate) of 4 Corps, visited the Frontier Headquarters, SSB, Guwahati. He was warmly welcomed by Shri Sudhir Verma, Inspector General, with bouquet and a traditional “Khada” of the Frontier.
Thereafter, the Inspector General briefed the GOC on the Frontier’s area of responsibility, border management and the preparedness of SSB during wartime situations. The GOC appreciated the efforts & professionalism of SSB in border management and internal security duties and assured enhanced coordination & synergies with  Army for better preparedness during wartime.
At the end of the visit, Shri Verma presented a memento to mark the occasion and make the visit memorable. During the visit  DIG Shri Rajneesh Lamba, Neeraj Chand and other officers were also present.
