Blood donation camp organized by SSB Guwahati
Guwahati 9th March: On 09.03.2026 a blood donation camp was organized today at the Frontier Headquarters, Guwahati, in collaboration with Guwahati Medical College and Hospital, in the presence of Shri Sudhir Verma, Inspector General, Frontier Guwahati.The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Mamta Agarwal, Deputy Inspector General (Medical), Frontier Headquarters Guwahati, along with Dr. Arunima Goswami of Guwahati Medical College and Hospital and their medical team.
On this occasion, Inspector General Shri Sudhir Verma himself donated blood to encourage and motivate the force personnel. He stated that blood donation is a noble act of charity in which the donor suffers no harm, while the donated blood becomes a life-saving gift for someone in need. During the camp, a total of 43 units of blood were donated by the force personnel. Shri H.B.K. Singh, DIG (Adm.) along with other senior officers and personnel of the force, enthusiastically participated in the camp.
