Public Meeting-cum-Inauguration of Development Projects Held in Maibang West Constituency

 
Maibang, February 28: A public meeting-cum-inauguration programme of various development projects under Maibang West Constituency was held successfully on Saturday in the presence of a large gathering of local residents and party workers.

 The event marked the formal inauguration of several developmental initiatives aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving public facilities in the constituency. Speakers at the programme highlighted that the projects were undertaken under the leadership of Chief Executive Member of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa, and with the support of the BJP-led government. They stated that the focus remains on accelerating grassroots development and ensuring that benefits reach every section of society.

Among those present were Executive Member Smti. Probita Johori; Members of Autonomous Council Monjoy Langthasa,  Ratan Jarambusa,  Noah Daime,  Projith Hojai, and Herojit Jidung; Maibang Mandal President Pronin Jidung; Maibang Mandal Mahila Morcha President; respected Mauzadars, Gaon Burahs, and party karyakartas.

 

On the occasion, cotton yarn and blankets were distributed to beneficiaries as part of a welfare initiative. The distribution aimed to extend support to needy families and reaffirm the administration’s commitment to public welfare.
