Sangha Shatabdi Varsha Udgahani Karyakram Held at Tarun Ram Phukan School Ground

Guwahati, Oct 6: The Sangha Shatabdi Varsha Udgahani Karyakram of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Kamakhya Nagar was organised on Sunday at the Tarun Ram Phukan School playground, Maligaon. Around 200 swayamsevaks participated in the event and presented various physical activities before the spectators.

Addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest, Mr. Briren Talukdar highlighted the golden history of the RSS, recalling its constructive role in nation-building and its continuous efforts toward shaping future generations.

The main speaker, Dr. Hirakjyoti Sarma, spoke on the RSS’s contribution in developing a progressive society rooted in Indian cultural values. He emphasized the importance of family, respect for elders, and the need for preserving nature. Referring to noted singer Zubeen Garg’s love for nature, Dr. Sarma said that worshiping nature is the highest form of worship towards God.
