ASHA Workers and ASHA Supervisors felicitated in Kamrup Metropolitan

Kamrup Metropolitan, 11 October 2026: 

A felicitation programme was organised in Kamrup Metropolitan district under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to recognise and appreciate the invaluable contributions of ASHA workers and ASHA Supervisors in strengthening healthcare services at the grassroots level.

As a mark of appreciation for their dedicated service, one-time incentive cheques of Rs-1,000/-each along with certificates of appreciation signed by the Chief Minister, Assam were distributed among the beneficiaries.

At the programme held at Kamarkuchi Higher Secondary School under Dimoria LAC, Dr. Tapan Das, the MLA distributed the cheques and certificates. Meanwhile, Shri Hemanta Choudhury, OSD to the Chief Minister, Assam attended the programme as the Chief Guest at Azara Public Hall under Jalukbari LAC.

Under this initiative, 207 ASHA workers and 16 ASHA Supervisors from Dimoria LAC, and 158 ASHA workers and 5 ASHA Supervisors from Jalukbari LAC were felicitated in recognition of their continued efforts & healthcare services at the grassroots level.
