‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ event held in Haflong to mark PM Modi’s 76th birthday

 Haflong, Sept 17: Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa, along with DHAC Chairman Mohet Hojai, Executive Members, Members of the Council and BJP workers, participated in the lighting of the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ at Shivarai Hading, popularly known as ‘I Love Dima Hasao’, in Haflong on Thursday evening to mark the 76th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The programme brought together party functionaries and workers who lit diyas and offered prayers for the Prime Minister’s long life, good health and continued strength in public service.

The organisers said the event was held to convey their greetings and prayers for Modi and to express their support for his vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’, a stronger Assam and a brighter future for citizens.

The gathering concluded with birthday greetings to the Prime Minister and prayers for his continued service to the nation
