Train Services Cancelled/Partially Cancelled/Diverted due to Flooding at Simaluguri

                                 

Guwahati, 05^th August, 2026:

In continuation to earlier releases on the subject, on account of disruption of train services due to the incessant heavy rainfall & flood at Simaluguri (SLGR) and adjoining areas in Sibsagar district under Tinsukia Division of NFR, few trains are further cancelled, partially cancelled and diverted in view of passenger safety and operational requirements. The affected train services are as follows:

 

Diversions of Trains via Dibrugarh – North Lakhimpur - Rangapara North - Rangiya - Guwahati- Rangiya-New Bongaigaon:

 

·        Train No. 12423 (Dibrugarh - New Delhi) Rajdhani Express commencing journey on 06.08.26

·        Train No. 20503 (Dibrugarh - New Delhi) Rajdhani Express commencing journey on 06.08.26

 

Diversions of Trains via Dibrugarh – North Lakhimpur – Rangapara North - Rangiya – New Bongaigaon:

 

·         Train No. 15909 (Dibrugarh – Lalgarh) Avadh Assam Express commencing journey 06.08.26.

·         Train No. 22504 (Dibrugarh – Kanniyakumari) Vivek Express commencing journey on 06.08.26.

·         Train No. 15959 (Howrah – Dibrugarh) Kamrup Express commencing journey on 05.08.2026.

 

Diversions of Trains via Rangiya - Rangapara North - North Lakhimpur – Dibrugarh:

·         Train No. 22503 (Kanniyakumari – Dibrugarh) Kamrup Express commencing journey on 03.08.2026.

·         Train No. 12424 (New Delhi - Dibrugarh) Rajdhani Express commencing journey on 05.08.26

·         Train No. 15910 (Lalgarh – Dibrugarh) Avadh Assam Express commencing journey on 03.08.2026.

·         Train No. 20504 (New Delhi - Dibrugarh) Rajdhani Express commencing journey on 05.08.26

·         Train No. 22501 (SMVT Bengaluru – New Tinsukia) Express commencing journey on 04.08.26

 

 

Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains:

·     Train no. 15669 (Guwahati – Dibrugarh) Nagaland Express commencing journey on 05.08.26 will be short terminated at Mariani and will remain cancel between Mariani and Dibrugarh,

·     Train no. 15670 (Dibrugarh – Guwahati) Nagaland Express commencing journey on 06.08.26 will be short originated from Mariani and will remain cancelled between Dibrugarh and Mariani.

·     Train No. 55913/55914 (Jorhat Town – Tinsukia-Jorhat Town) Passenger commencing journey on 06.08.26.

·     Train No. 75602/75601 (Tinsukia – Lumding – Tinsukia) DEMU commencing journey on 06.08.26.

·     Train No. 15603 (Guwahati - Ledo) Intercity Express commencing journey on 05.08.2026.

·     Train No. 15604 (Ledo - Guwahati) Intercity Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026

·     Train No. 15968/15967 (Ledo – Rangiya - Ledo) Passenger commencing journey on 06.08.26

·     Train No. 55909/55910 (Simaluguri – Dibrugarh - Simaluguri) Passenger commencing journey on 06.08.26.

 

Despite the challenging conditions, NFR is working 24X7 for restoration of train services at the flood affected areas to the earliest. Engineering teams led by senior railway officials of division have been working continuously on a war footing to restore and ensure safe railway services in that flood hit areas.
