Special Operation by Jalukbari River Police Ahead of Independence Day

 Guwahati, August 13: Preparations are underway across the country for the celebration of the 80th Independence Day. In view of security concerns and to prevent any possible attempts by miscreants to carry out attacks, heightened security measures have been taken by the administration.

On Thursday, the Jalukbari River Police conducted a special operation in the Brahmaputra River. The operation was aimed at strengthening security along the river route and preventing miscreants from using waterways to carry out any possible attacks.

In addition, Jalukbari Police have arranged special checking at various locations along the roads as part of the security measures ahead of Independence Day.
