NFR Updates Train Services Amid Ongoing Restoration Work in Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section

 

Guwahati, 10^th August, 2026:

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) continues restoration work near New Harangajao station following the settlement of railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2). Train operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place. In view of the ongoing restoration work, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train services: 

Cancellation of Trains:

·        Train No. 15615 (Guwahati – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been

cancelled between Guwahati and Silchar.

 

·        Train No. 15616 (Silchar – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been

             cancelled between Silchar and Guwahati   

Rescheduling of Trains:

·        Train No. 15650 (Narangi – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Narangi at 22:30 hrs instead of 17:00 hrs.

 

·        Train No. 15649 (Agartala – Narangi) Express commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Agartala at 23:30 hrs instead of 21:30 hrs.

 

·        Train No. 15609 (Guwahati – Sairang) Express commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Guwahati at 23:30 hrs instead of 19:00 hrs.

 

·        Train No. 15610 (Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Sairang at 21:30 hrs instead of 19:00 hrs.

 

·        Train No. 15611 (Rangiya – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Rangiya at 23:30 hrs instead of 19:00 hrs.

 

·        Train No. 15612 (Silchar – Rangiya) Express commencing journey on 12.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart at 05:00 hrs of 12.08.2026

 

·        Train No. 15628 (Silchar – Coimbatore) Express commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Silchar at 04:10 hrs on 12.08.2026.

 

Regulation of Train:

·        Train No. 15625 (Deoghar– Agartala) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 will be regulated enroute suitably.
