NFR Revises Train Services Amid Ongoing Restoration Work in Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section
Guwahati, 09th August, 2026:
Northeast
Frontier Railway (NFR) continues restoration work near New Harangajao station
following the settlement of railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2). Train
operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through
Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place. In view of the ongoing
restoration work, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train
services:
Cancellation of Trains:

Train No. 15617 (Guwahati – Dullabcherra) Express
commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been cancelled.

Train No. 15618 (Dullabcherra – Guwahati) Express
commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been cancelled.
·
Train No.
15615 (Guwahati – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been
cancelled.
·
Train No.
15616 (Silchar – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 11.08.2026 has been
cancelled.
Rescheduling of Trains:

Train No. 15650
(Narangi – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 22:30 hrs.

Train No. 15649
(Agartala – Narangi) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 23:30 hrs.

Train No. 15609
(Guwahati – Sairang) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 23:30 hrs.

Train No. 15610
(Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 21:30 hrs.

(Rangiya – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 23:30 hrs.

(Silchar – Rangiya) Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been rescheduled
to depart at 05:00 hrs of 11.08.26

Train No. 20501 (Agartala
– Anand Vihar Terminal) Tejas Express commencing journey on 10.08.2026 has been
rescheduled at 23:00 hours.

Train No. 14037
(Silchar – New Delhi) Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express commencing journey on
10.08.2026 has been rescheduled at 04:10 hours of 11.08.26.
Regulation of Train:

Train No. 12501 (Kolkata
– Agartala Express) commencing journey on 09.08.2026 has been regulated enroute
conveniently over Lumding division.
