NFR Revises Train Services Amid Ongoing Restoration Work in Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section
Guwahati, 05th August, 2026:
Northeast
Frontier Railway (NFR) continues restoration work near New Harangajao station
following the settlement of railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2). Train
operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through
Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place. In view of the ongoing
restoration work, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train
services:
Cancellation of Trains:

(Guwahati – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026 has been
cancelled.

Train No. 15616
(Silchar – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 07.08.2026 has been
cancelled.
Rescheduling of Trains:

Train No. 15650
(Narangi – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 22:30 hrs.

Train No. 15649
(Agartala – Narangi) Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 23:30 hrs.

Train No. 15609
(Guwahati – Sairang) Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 23:30 hrs.

Train No. 15610
(Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 21:30 hrs.

Train No. 15611
(Rangiya – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 23:30 hrs.

Train No. 15612
(Silchar – Rangiya) Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart at 05:00 hrs on 07.08.2026.

Train No. 14619 (Agartala – Firozpur Cant)
Express commencing journey on 06.08.2026 has
been rescheduled to depart at 23:30 hrs.

Train No. 15608 (Silchar –
Thiruvananthapuram Central) Express commencing
journey on 06.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart at 04:10 hrs on 07.08.2026.
Regulation of Train:

Train No. 12503 (SMVT Bengaluru – Agartala)
Express commencing journey on 04.08.2026 will be
regulated enroute suitably.
