Maibang Hosts Live Telecast of Orunodoi 3.0 First Disbursement Programme

Maibang, August 1: A live telecast programme of the First Disbursement under Orunodoi 3.0 for the financial year 2026–27 was held at Dishru Cultural Hall here on Saturday. The event was addressed by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Orunodoi 3.0 is a flagship welfare scheme of the Government of Assam aimed at empowering women through direct financial assistance to eligible families. The initiative plays a significant role in enhancing household welfare, ensuring financial security, and supporting the daily needs of thousands of families across the state.

Local officials, beneficiaries, and residents gathered at the venue to witness the Chief Minister’s address and the formal launch of the disbursement process under the upgraded scheme.
