Manoj Kumar Sarma Bordoloi takes charge as Regional Executive Director, AAI, North East Region, Guwahati.

 Guwahati, 2^nd July: Shri Manoj Kumar Sarma Bordoloi, General Manager (Finance), Airports Authority of India (AAI), North East Region, assumed charge of Regional Executive Director, North East Region on Wednesday, 1^st July 2026.  He was accorded a warm welcome by AAI officials and other stakeholders of Civil Aviation in the Region.

A resident of the city, Sh. Bordoloi becomes the first Assamese to take the charge of Region Executive Director upon retirement of previous RED, NER Sh. Gian Batra.  A Master of Commerce from Guwahati University & CMA (Cost and Management Accountant).  Sh. Bordoloi with Finance Expertise served many Airports including AAI, CHQ New Delhi.  He joined AAI on 3^rd Dec, 1991.

It is mentioning worthy that there are fourteen operational Airports in the entire North East Region.  It is expected that being son of soil, under the dynamic leadership of Sh. M.K.S. Bordoloi airports in North East Region will get a new dimension.
