DC Reviews Progress of NHAI and NHIDCL Projects in Dima Hasao

 Haflong, July 8: A review meeting on compensation, land acquisition, and other issues relating to the ongoing road infrastructure projects of the National Highways Authority of India and National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited was held at the Conference Hall of the District Commissioner's Office, Haflong, on Wednesday.

The meeting was chaired by Gayatri Devidas Hyalinge, District Commissioner of Dima Hasao, to review the progress of the projects and address issues related to compensation, land acquisition, and other implementation challenges.

The meeting was attended by Ripunjoy Kakoti, Senior Superintendent of Police, Additional District Commissioner, Additional Secretary of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), the District Agriculture Officer, officials of NHAI, NHIDCL, the Forest Department, and other concerned departments.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on resolving pending issues through coordinated efforts among all stakeholders. The District Commissioner emphasized the need for close coordination between the district administration and the executing agencies to expedite the implementation of the ongoing highway projects and ensure their timely completion for the benefit of the public.
