Review Meeting on DNLA Peace Accord Implementation Held at DHAC, Haflong


 Haflong, June 29: A review meeting on the implementation of the Memorandum of Settlement (MoS) signed between the Government and the Dima National Liberation Army (DNLA) was held on Monday at the Conference Hall of the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC).

The meeting was chaired by Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa, who reviewed the progress made in implementing the provisions of the peace accord. Detailed discussions were held with DNLA representatives on key issues, with particular emphasis on the timely and effective execution of the commitments outlined in the agreement.




Addressing the meeting, Gorlosa stressed that the successful implementation of the MoS is crucial for ensuring lasting peace, stability, and inclusive development in Dima Hasao. He reaffirmed the commitment of the DHAC to work in close coordination with all stakeholders to fulfil the aspirations of the people and strengthen the foundation for a peaceful and prosperous future.

The meeting was attended by DHAC Chairman Mohet Hojai; Executive Members Manjit Naiding, Donpainon Thaosen, Probita Johori and Projith Hojai; Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) and Vice-Chairman of the District Planning Board Dhriti Thaosen; MAC Nojit Kemprai; the Principal Secretary of DHAC; senior council officials; and representatives of the DNLA.
