Career Awareness Programme on Civil Services to be Held in Haflong on July 3
Haflong, June 29: With the objective of motivating young aspirants to pursue careers in the Civil Services, the North East Youth Foundation will organise a Career Awareness Programme with a special focus on UPSC and APSC examinations at the Government Girls' Higher Secondary School, Haflong on July 3 (Friday).
The programme will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and aims to guide students and job aspirants on the opportunities, preparation strategies, and career prospects in the Civil Services.
The event will feature two eminent speakers. Ranjan K. Baruah, Founder of the North East Youth Foundation and a noted career mentor, will share his experience of mentoring thousands of students across Northeast India over the past decade. Joining him will be Rajdeep Lekharu, Founder and Director of CSAP IAS Academy and an alumnus of AEC and IIM Kozhikode, who is widely recognised for mentoring successful APSC candidates from Assam.
Organisers said the awareness programme is intended to inspire the youth of Dima Hasao to consider public service as a rewarding career and equip them with practical guidance on examination preparation, career planning, and skill development.
The North East Youth Foundation has invited students, graduates, and civil service aspirants from across the district to participate in the programme. The initiative is being organised under the foundation's vision of empowering young people through career guidance and capacity building.
