Haflong, June 25: A delegation representing Community One and the Dima Hasao District Committee of Bangali Parishad Assam visited the residence of late eminent journalist Shri Ashim Choudhury at Umrangsu on Wednesday to express their condolences to the bereaved family.
The delegation comprised Shri Anup Kumar Biswas, Shri Rajat Kanti Nath, Shri Uttam Dey, and Shri Biplab Deb. During the visit, the members conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the family and handed over a condolence message to the late journalist's wife, Smt. Dipti Choudhury.
The delegation expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Shri Choudhury, acknowledging his significant contributions to journalism in Dima Hasao. They also assured the family of their solidarity and support during this difficult period.
The members prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended their sincere condolences to the bereaved family.
