Haflong, April 1: In a sad development, Hen Samuel Chagnsan, Executive Member of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC), passed away on Wednesday evening at a hospital in Guwahati, Assam.
According to sources, Chagnsan had been undergoing treatment for health-related issues before he breathed his last. His sudden demise has come as a shock to many across the district, particularly in Dima Hasao where he was regarded as a dedicated public representative.
