Public Meetings Draw Large Gatherings in Khepre and Didambra; Key Infrastructure Inaugurated


 
Haflong, February 21: A series of public meetings held at Khepre under Wajao constituency and Didambra under Hajadisa constituency witnessed large gatherings, with enthusiastic participation from local residents and well-wishers.
Prior to the meetings, several important infrastructure projects under the Wajao constituency were inaugurated by Debolal Gorlosa, Chief Executive Member, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council on Saturday.

These included the Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) at Natudisa Sub-Centre, the Dijambra L.P. School building, Choto Bathari L.P. School building, and the L.P. School Teachers’ Quarter building. The newly inaugurated facilities are expected to strengthen healthcare and educational services in the area.



Addressing the gatherings, the leaders highlighted ongoing development initiatives and reaffirmed their commitment to improving essential services and public welfare across the constituencies.
During the programme, blankets, buckets and cotton yarn were distributed to beneficiaries as part of welfare support measures.
The events were attended by Chairman of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) Mohet Hojai; District BJP President, Vice-Chairman of District Planning Board DHAC and MAC Dhriti Thaosen; Executive Members Donpainon Thaosen, Biswajit Daulagupu, Monjit Naiding and Smt. Probita Johori; MACs  Projith Hojai, Monjoy Langthasa, Smt. Rupali Langthasa, Ratan Jarambusa and Hirojit Jidung; former JNH President  Khailen Daulagupu; former ADSU President Uttam Langthasa; former EM  Thaisodao Thaosen; and other party leaders and dignitaries.
