New School Building Inaugurated at Harangajao Under CEM’s Pilot Project


 Haflong, February 8: A new chapter in educational development began at Harangajao on Sunday with the inauguration of the newly constructed building of Harangajao Public Higher Secondary School under the Chief Executive Member’s Pilot Project.
The building was inaugurated by Chief Executive Member of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) Debolal Gorlosa, marking a significant step towards strengthening educational infrastructure in the region.



 Addressing the gathering, CEM Gorlosa said that quality education and proper learning facilities are key to shaping the future of children and assured continued efforts to improve school infrastructure across the district.
The inaugural programme was attended by Mohet Hojai, Chairman, DHAC; Samuel Changsan, Executive Member, DHAC; Smt. Rupali Langthasa, Monjoy Langthasa and Pronath Rajiyung, Members of Autonomous Council (MACs); Pratap Haflongbar, CDC Chairman, Harangajao; Smt. Ropui Hmar, CDC Chairman, Lower Kharthong; Atul Daulagupu, Mouzadar, Harangajao; Subodh Langthasa, Mandal President; and Bisujit Hojai, Chairman, Harangajao Town Committee.
Also present on the occasion were Roibolien Hrangkhol, Principal, Public English Higher Secondary School, and Ashit K.R. Sen, Principal, Harangajao Public High School, along with teachers, students and local residents.




Later in the day, CEM Debolal Gorlosa also inaugurated the Baikho at Gamadi Hawar, Harangajao, further adding to the day’s developmental initiatives.
The new school building is expected to provide a better learning environment and improved facilities for students, contributing to overall educational growth in the area.
