Several Trains Cancelled in Alipurduar Division Due to Heavy Rain

Guwahati, 05th October, 2025: Due to heavy rain and water flowing over railway tracks at several locations in North Bengal under the Alipurduar Division, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the cancellation of a number of trains scheduled to run on 06th October, 2025.

According to the official notification given by Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, the following trains will remain cancelled on 06th October:

1. Train No. 15467 (Siliguri Jn. - Bamanhat) Intercity Express

2. Train No. 75741 (Siliguri Jn. - Dhubri) Intercity Express

3. Train No. 75725 (Siliguri Jn. - New Bongaigaon) DMU

4. Train No. 75713 (Siliguri Jn. - Bamanhat) DMU

5. Train No. 15767 (Siliguri Jn. - Alipurduar Jn.) Intercity Express

6. Train No. 15777 (New Jalpaiguri – Alipurduar Jn.) Tourist Express

7. Train No. 15703 (New Jalpaiguri – Bongaigaon) Express

8. Train No. 15464 (Siliguri Jn. - Balurghat) Intercity Express

9. Train No. 55422 (Balurghat – Malda Town) Passenger

The NFR authorities have taken this precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and railway operations amid adverse weather conditions.
