Northeast
Frontier Railway (NFR) continues restoration work near New Harangajao station
following the settlement of railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2). Train
operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through
Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place. In view of the ongoing
restoration work, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train
services:
Cancellation of Trains:

Train No. 15615
(Guwahati – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been
cancelled.

Train No. 15616
(Silchar – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 21.08.2026 has been cancelled.
Rescheduling of Trains:

Train No. 15650
(Narangi – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart from Narangi at 22:30 hrs.
·
Train No. 15649
(Agartala – Narangi) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart from Agartala at 23:30 hrs.
·
Train No. 15609
(Guwahati – Sairang) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart from Guwahati at 23:30 hrs.

Train No. 15610
(Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart from Sairang at 21:30 hrs.

Train No. 15611
(Rangiya – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been rescheduled
to depart from Rangiya at 23:30 hrs.

Train No. 15612
(Silchar – Rangiya) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been
rescheduled to depart from Silchar
at 05:00 hrs of 21.08.2026.

Train No. 14619 (Agartala
– Firozpur Cant.) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been rescheduled
to depart from Agartala at 23:00 hrs.
· Train No. 15608 (Silchar – Thiruvananthapuram Central) Express commencing journey on 20.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Silchar at 04:10 hrs of 21.08.2026.
Regulation of Trains:

Train No. 12503 (SMVT Bengaluru - Agartala) Express commencing journey on 18.08.2026 will
be regulated enroute suitably.
