NFR Updates Train Services Amid Ongoing Restoration Work in Lumding – Badarpur Hill Section

Guwahati, 20^th August, 2026:

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) continues restoration work near New Harangajao station following the settlement of railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2). Train operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place. In view of the ongoing restoration work, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train services:

 

Cancellation of Trains:

·       Train No. 15615 (Guwahati – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 21.08.2026 has been cancelled.

·       Train No. 15616 (Silchar – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 22.08.2026 has been cancelled.

 

Rescheduling of Trains:

·       Train No. 15650 (Narangi – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 21.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Narangi at 18:30 hrs.

·       Train No. 15611 (Rangiya – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 21.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Rangiya at 21:30 hrs.

·       Train No. 20507 (Sairang – Anand Vihar Terminal) Express commencing journey on 21.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Sairang at 20:10 hrs.
