Haflong, August 20: Members of the Bangali Parishad, Assam, Dima Hasao District Committee, held a fruitful and cordial meeting with Haflong MLA Smt. Rupali Langthasa today and discussed various issues concerning the community and the overall welfare of the people of Dima Hasao.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the MLA of several important issues affecting the community and sought her support and cooperation in addressing them. Smt. Rupali Langthasa gave the delegation a patient hearing and assured them of her full support, cooperation and necessary coordination in taking up the issues raised.
The Bangali Parishad, Assam, Dima Hasao District Committee, expressed appreciation for the MLA’s positive approach, valuable time and assurance of continued support.
The delegation expressed hope that such interactions would further strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation among different sections of society and contribute to peace, progress and the welfare of all communities in Dima Hasao.
Earlier MLA Langthasa was felicitated with 'Rihsa' by team of Bangali Parishad Assam, Dima Hasao District Committee.
