Haflong November 17 The Indigenous Students Forum team met with the District Commissioner Munindranath Ngate to apprise him of the alleged irregularities in the DIET Kalachand B.Ed admission process.
During the meeting, the team briefed him on the sequence of events and the concerns already raised with the Principal Secretary, NCHAC. They reiterated their demand for a fair and transparent admission process strictly based on merit, or alternatively, to accommodate all local candidates who secured 39 marks and above. A copy of the memorandum submitted earlier was also handed over to the District Commissioner for his kind information and necessary intervention.
The ISF representatives further cautioned that if the Council fails to initiate corrective measures within the stipulated period, they would be compelled to adopt their next course of action to safeguard the rights of deserving students. The District Commissioner assured the delegation that the matter would be examined with due seriousness.
