Haflong November 28 : Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) Chairman Mohet Hojai attended the 11th General Conference of the Nianglo Luangria Zeme Students' Union at Laisong, located about 75 km from Haflong . The event, themed “Unity Today, Invincible Tomorrow,” aimed to promote community unity, culture, and progress among Zeme students.
Hojai inaugurated the Nianglo Luangria Gate amid a large gathering, highlighting the union's role in fostering togetherness. The conference drew dignitaries including Paudaming Nriame, Executive Member of DHAC from Laisong; Noah Daime, Member of Autonomous Council from Hangrum; and Kailen Daulagupu, Advisor of Jadikhe Naisho Hosom (JNH).
In his address, Chairman Hojai praised the students' union for their efforts in cultural preservation and development, urging sustained community collaboration for future success . The gathering underscored DHAC's engagement with tribal youth initiatives in Dima Hasao .
