CVC Director Leads Interactive Vigilance Workshop at N.F. Railway Headquarters


Guwahati, 15th October: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, the Vigilance Wing of Northeast Frontier Railway organized an interactive workshop and presentation session at the N.F. Railway Headquarters, Maligaon. The session, held on Monday, was addressed by Ms. Priyanka Singh, IRS, Director, Central Vigilance Commission, and graced by Shri S.P. Beck, Senior Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer, N.F. Railway.

According to an official statement by Shri Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, the workshop witnessed active participation from chiefs of all vigilance departments along with their officers and team members. The day-long event provided a constructive platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and experience exchange among vigilance professionals.

During her address, Ms. Priyanka Singh delivered a comprehensive presentation on effective methods of conducting vigilance investigations within the CVC framework. Her session emphasized best practices, procedural adherence, and ethical governance principles. It also featured interactive case studies designed to promote analytical thinking and transparency in vigilance processes.



Shri S.P. Beck underscored the importance of proactive vigilance and the strengthening of preventive mechanisms across departments to ensure integrity and efficiency in railway operations. He lauded the vigilance officials from various divisions and units for their continued dedication to promoting fairness and transparency.

On this occasion, Ms. Priyanka Singh and Shri S.P. Beck also met Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager, N.F. Railway, to review ongoing initiatives and discuss strategies aimed at enhancing vigilance administration and fostering a culture of integrity across the organization.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks, as participants expressed appreciation for the insightful deliberations and practical guidance that reaffirmed the Vigilance Wing’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and accountability in railway governance.
